My name is Carla Arce Cuesta, and my journey with Brussels Griffons began over 5 years ago when I first met a rough-coated red Griff named Max. From the moment he tilted his head, fixed those big, expressive eyes on me, and let out his signature “Griff talk,” I was hooked. What started as admiration for one dog quickly blossomed into a full commitment to the breed.

Like many enthusiasts, I was initially drawn to the Brussels Griffon’s unique appearance — the wiry or smooth coat, the almost human facial expressions, the beard and mustache that give them such character. But it was their personality that truly captured my heart: the perfect blend of mischievous monkey, loyal Velcro dog, and sensitive soul who wants nothing more than to be with their people.

Over the years, I immersed myself in the breed. I studied bloodlines, attended specialty shows, connected with legendary breeders across the United States and Europe, and learned the nuances of responsible breeding
